June 23rd Conference for Seniors
Maybe you are not caring for an elderly loved one now, but you might be soon. Millions of Americans are caregivers already navigating the unclear channels where legal issues, medical concerns, and family matters intersect.
Forty-one percent of baby boomers with a living parent are care providers, with personal help, financial assistance or both, according to a USA TODAY/ABC News/Gallup Poll. Of those boomers who aren’t providing care for parents now, 37% think they will someday. More than half of them express concern about their ability to do so.
Most of us have questions and often we don’t know where to turn. On Saturday, June 23rd from 12:30 – 5:00 pm at the Holiday Inn Express in Grass Valley, Jennifer L. Wilkerson will be participating with other local attorneys and professionals to help you maneuver through the challenges. See Flyer.
This event is presented by the Elder Care Providers Coalition and co-sponsored by the Gold Country Estate Planning Council , Northern California Lawyer Referral Service and Nevada County District Attorney, Elder Abuse and Financial Crimes Prevention .
